I GRADUATED FROM hUDDESRFIELD university in 2007 with a degree in fine art. Since THEN I have also completed with Leeds Met Uni A GRAPHICS DESiGN DEGREE AND HOPE TO GET INTO the indusTRY.
Alan has vast styles and variations to his work. Through his education he has produced drawings, installation pieces, sculptures, 2d montages, scrap booking, product design and graphic design. He is multi diciplinery and can take his hand to anything creative.

stages Art idol Competition to corner market
in new young British Artist.
In 2007 Alans' work was shorlisted by the Saachi galleries competition '4 new sensations', whilst in early 2008 Alan was also shorlisted by the Tate galley in their competiton 'The alternative turner prize'. These two shortlists were announced only 6 months after graduating from his degree and the work nominated was those from his degree collection of sculpture (right) and 2D works.
The work came from his collection based around the ideologies of manipulation, disortion, war and contrasting themes of the known and the un-kown, the familair yet unfmailiar. These themes and contasts play a vital role into luring you in to view, but the narritive of the space and the upclose details reminds you to subtley take a step back.
